ISNR Code of Conduct
The International Symposium on Neural Regeneration (ISNR) is committed to providing a meeting
environment that fosters open dialogue and exchange of scientific ideas, promotes equal
opportunities and fair treatment for all meeting participants regardless of age, gender identity,
race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or disabilities.
The following policies apply to all meeting participants and guests:
• Come to the meeting with a positive attitude!
• Treat meeting attendees with respect at all times.
• Be prompt in arriving to the meeting and in returning from breaks.
• Turn cell phones off or to vibrate.
• If you must take urgent phone calls, take your conversation outside.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• During Q&A, wait to be recognized by the Chairperson.
• Limit side conversations in the meeting hall during presentations.
• Be patient when listening to others speak and do not interrupt them.
• Don't make inappropriate or rude comments to participants.
• Address any concerns about the discussion or the meeting with the Chairperson.
>>> If members feel they cannot talk about issues or concerns during the meeting,
they can report concerns to the Director (or other male or female member of the
Scientific Advisory Board that they are comfortable with) via email or phone after the
meeting has concluded.
• Be respectful of other people's ideas, personal space, and property.
• There will be “zero tolerance” policy for abuse, use of derogatory remarks, personal
insults, harassment, threats or any form of discrimination.
