Shepherd Center, Atlanta, GA and Professor, Emory University
Dr. Field-Fote is Director, Spinal Cord Injury Research at Shepherd Center; Professor, Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Biological Sciences; and Professor, Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Previously, she was the director of the Neuromotor Rehabilitation Research Laboratory at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Her research has focused on spinal cord injury for over 20 years, beginning with studies in an animal model and subsequently applying this knowledge to people with SCI.

Dr. Robert Rennaker is a neural engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the development of neural interfaces.Dr. Seth Hays oversees research focused on developing vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapies to improve recovery.
