The International Symposium on Neural Regeneration (ISNR)

The ISNR is a 501c(3) organization whose primary purpose is to present current research topics by leaders to an interdisciplinary audience studying neural regeneration, bioengineering and associated areas, with a focus on spinal cord injury (SCI) and peripheral nerve repair.

The ISNR has held a premier scientific conference every two years since 1985. With its single-session meeting format, the ISNR promotes interactions between attendees, which typically number at 300. Invited participants are encouraged to stay for the entire meeting to maximize scientific discussions with trainees. During the event, trainees gain vital presentation experience by participating in data blitz oral presentations and poster sessions, which include judging and feedback from international faculty.

Historically, many attendees of ISNR are also members of The American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) or attend their annual scientific meetings.

ISNR leaders are thrilled to be a proud affiliate of ASIA and hope this will strengthen interactions between the clinical and translational communities interested in SCI and peripheral nerve repair-related topics in research and medicine.
